For inspiration, have just been having another look at
Cooking Cute: a bento site. The writer links to what sounds like a really good asparagus soup, made with yoghurt and lemon juice, which is perfectly anti-Candida diet friendly (subject to the omission of the parmesan, of course). As soon as asparagus comes into season (mid, late-April) I might head down to Leicester Market, buy a bunch or two and try this recipe out.
